Have been a member for a couple of years, for the last few days I haven't had daily gransnet in the inbox, but just found it all by chance in spam.
What do I do now?

Can you define things you want to keep as non-spam?

It's difficult to give you precise instructions without knowing more about who your email provider is and whether or not you are using the email client that came with your device or downloaded another email app.

Basically, you need to open the Gransnet email in your Spam folder then look in one of the top corners of the app for a drop-down menu (on my Apple and Android devices using Gmail I need to click 3 little dots), on the menu you should be able to click 'Not Spam'. There may even be a button saying 'Not Spam' somewhere too. This will tell your email provider that emails from this particular address are not to be marked as Spam in future.

You can also add the Gransnet news letter email address to your contacts list; [email protected], this will also tell your provider not to mark it as Spam.

Hi silverlining48,

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Unfortunately we can't do anything at GNHQ to mark it as not spam in your inbox, but we advise adding our newsletter email address ([email protected]) to your contacts and unmarking the message as spam - how to do this will depend on your email provider.

Please let us know at [email protected] if this doesn't work, and we will look further into this for you.

Click on the message in your spam box and then click on not spam from the options above, you should then get a message asking if you want to place message in your in box.
