Good Morning Mick and everyone from another hot and sunny south coast.

We had no internet yesterday until later on in the evening and it was so frustrating! We have come to depend on it for news, contacts, information etc. Probably just as addicted as DGC are to their devices in fact!

Out and about doing bits and bobs today then choir tonight, which I always enjoy.

We were woken up by the rain this morning. It won't do the lawns any good, as they have been ruined by the building work☹️.
We have DGD today and were planning on going out for lunch to avoid all the work. The rain has meant we will have to re think.
On top of that, I have a really sore throat. ( Probably caused by too much talking?.)

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. And to early risers, Marydoll and Gaga! A dull start in South Yorkshire. I have been up since half past five with - toothache! I’m hoping it will just be a short lived thing and go away. Conservatory windows to clean this morning and then I know not what. Have a good day, folks.

North Leicestershire is a bit overcast but there is no rain in the forecast until 30th July!

School run this afternoon - last one till September. I will miss seeing the children regularly and next year will be different as DGS will be at senior school and come and go on his own!

It is much cooler down here in Devon than at home.. Overcast at the moment but hopefully no rain to spoil our enjoyment. Just need to get rid of of a heavy cold that I seem to have bought down with me.

Weather very favourable,dry and cooler.

It seems I am not alone feeling distinctly ropey this morning,having picked up a chill I suspect with the big change in temperatures.
So every commiseration GreyD and Marydoll..........we seem to be the weak links here on this Good Morning thread!........hope it is all shortlived .

No shopping trip now........not that I was desperately looking forward to it!

DIL's birthday so I am off to get a cake and flowers and then we will visit this afternoon. She has been really poorly for more than a week so hope she is up to having visitors.

Good Morning everyone, from a warm but cloudy Black Country.

Went to see 9 year old granddaughter perform in her school play, but halfway through the power went off and wasn't going to be back until 4pm, so that was abandoned. It was such as shame as it was quite a funny show.

Then the evening performance she was sick just before so couldn't perform!

Today I am off to Brum for lunch with friends. May have a wander round the shops . I just love being able to travel on the train for free!!

Hello all,

It's sunny and warm (but pleasantly so) in Nottingham. I've got boring jobs to do... clean the fish tank, change the water. Ironing. Washing. Hoover the car.

On the plus front, I'll be seeing my little granddaughters (7yrs and almost 4yrs) after school so I'm looking forward to that.

Another warm day here, though slightly cooler than Monday.
Been busy with general jobs before it gets too hot, though I can't bring myself to attack the ironing yet ?. Think I'll go out instead!
