A beautiful sunny morning in the north of Norfolk - and it’s warming up. I think we’re going to get a second day like the rest of the country seem to have been having - usually it been starting cloudy. Am working up the will power to turn this ‘puter off and get on with the ironing before it gets too hot.

Family all arriving later for a buffet lunch to celebrate my birthday.

Another lovely day down here in the New Forest. Off to the Lymington Carnival today and then an outdoor performance of A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream.

Beautiful morning here in Letchworth. First lot of washing justing spinning then out on the line, birds fed and bird baths refilled.Greenhouse window opened as warm in there already. Getting in the shower in a mo, then to get ready as DD coming this morning and we are off out for coffee and a catch up. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and enjoys the World Cup later today if they are watching.

It's repeat weather here on the south coast - glorious again.

I won a solar powered lantern in the WI raffle on Friday and it finally lit up last night after charging in the sun for 2 days. I am hugely impressed by solar power - we now have:

Solar powered fairy lights on the fence
Solar powered water feature
Solar powered metal cockerel
Solar powered lantern

Not sure what use they will be in a normal British summer but they are very pretty and enjoyable in this sunny one!

It looks as though we are in for another scorching,and I can`t say I am exactly enamoured by the thought!!!
I think rain has forgotten of our existence!!!

A peaceful walk in our ancient forest yesterday was such a lovely cool treat,water levels in the lake there were extremely high, much to our amazement.

Another very keen cyclist himself Mick,my DH is also an avid follower of Tour de France.............and I too enjoy the amazing scenery.

Good morning all. Weather very dull here in Glasgow.
Been wandering about since 6am. I've already prepared Sunday lunch, made crumble for dinner, dealt with the recycling, emptied the dishwasher, tidied up and will now be able to have a guilt free morning reading the papers.Im feeling very virtuous, as DH is still abed?

Morning all on this beautiful sunny Sunday. My goodness, you are a busy lot of people, washing ironing, cooking etc. I am just about to get up, I've had my cup of tea and now I can face the day. Church later, DH doing the AV. Then home and lunch, and packing for our week away. Staying overnight with DD, and SIL will run us to the pick up point tomorrow.
(I hate packing).

Good morning, a lovely sunny start to the day. Slept well by removing duvet and keeping the Dyson thingy on all night, didn't wake up all hot and sticky.

Morning Mick. Morning All. Sunshine over our corner of Somerset. Feels fresh, should be a nice day. Our neighbour is back and is delighted her plants are thriving. We’re delighted not to have to carry any more water . Usual Sunday stuff, lunch preparation and a bit of catch up once I summon the energy to stir. Happy birthday ginny. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. I have just come round having slept the sleep of the dead! First time I have slept on top of the duvet all night. It is already very warm here in South Yorkshire. We were going to go for a walk, but will have to pick somewhere with a bit of shade today. I made a curry yesterday which will feed us tonight when (if) it cools down a bit. Have a good day, folks!

Scorchio here already. I've got a bit of clearing and cleaning to do after family gathering here yesterday. Then resting in front of tennis and football while eating bbq leftovers.

Morning all fro a dull but warm Co Wicklow , last day of our wee break . Visiting other garden on the way home . We have been garden hopping all weekend !
