I always just use “last day” to view posts on forums. Choose from list on top. Then I can just look at topics that interest me and I know are current. Though sometimes I realise it’s just one new post on an ancient thread.

But I am not one of them so I have to make do with GN's own

If I want to start a thread about anything (which would be rarely), I usually have a look to see if there is a recent-ish one on the same subject. If so I have been known to resurrect it. As for the emojis, I use either the Gransnet ones, or those that appear on my tablet keyboard. ???

I'm sure GN HQ will be glad of your help Rufus2 as for me I'll just battle on with the active thread and current emojis.

I typed a post on this thread about an hour ago and included some emojis from my phone keypad, it wouldn't send, I'm wondering if they were the reason I've used them before with no trouble.
