Which fairy would you like to help you?

Having found myself being the empty toilet roll fairy...yet again....my mind wandered to what sort of fairy I'd like to help me. I quickly thought of and discarded a washing up fairy, a toilet cleaning fairy and a bed changing fairy. Without a doubt I would like an ironing fairy. Wouldn't it be lovely to put the clean washing in a basket and the next morning wake up to find it neatly ironed and hanging on coat hangers ready to be just put away. I'd like the clothes to be in the wardrobe but I don't want to ask too much of my fairy.

I'll be your ironing fairy vq if you'll clean my cooker smile

I have one called e* and she is amazing.
Now I’m not working as much and she is very busy she may be moving on but she has promised to continue to do my ironing.
She’ll pick it up and deliver it back when it suits her.
Fine by me, I’ll just have to buy more cloths?

I'd like the fatbusting fairy to wave her wand over all my food (and drink) and reduce it to zero calories without any loss of content or flavour.

midgey Mon 05-Mar-18 09:37:10

Ooh Teetime that sounds ideal! grin

PamelaJ1 Mon 05-Mar-18 09:41:01

I’ll have that too teatime.
Oh, and one that will do my accounts.
Due to inflation I have to have 3 ?‍♀️

ninathenana Mon 05-Mar-18 09:41:18

I was going to post along those lines Teetime

Greyduster Mon 05-Mar-18 09:45:26

A ‘stop your husband grumping about brexit’ fairy would do very nicely. If there isn’t one of those, I’ll have the one Teetime has!

I’d like the Health Elf to swing by....

pensionpat Mon 05-Mar-18 10:12:03

The National Elf?

Squiffy Mon 05-Mar-18 10:33:18

Definitely the De-clutter Fairy for me, please! blush

DanniRae Mon 05-Mar-18 10:39:16

Oh, can I have a fairy that does all the things already mentioned? And maybe go to things I am invited to but really can't be bothered with 'cos that would be great!! grin

henetha Mon 05-Mar-18 10:40:57

I'd like a secretarial-assistant fairy. My paperwork is in a mess despite all my efforts.

Cherrytree59 Mon 05-Mar-18 11:05:35

Yep same here this morning Vq.
One of my first threads, if not the first thread on GN was about the 'toilet roll fairy' that resides at Chez Cherry and still does even after DH retired.
Bless hersmile.

Squiffy when the de-clutter fairy has finished at yours can you send her/him over to me.

NonnaW Mon 05-Mar-18 11:49:17

A general housework fairy please. If she has any spare time (smile) maybe she could do something with the dogs to occupy their brains and help to wear them out!

Auntieflo Mon 05-Mar-18 11:54:44

We need the boiler innards fairy at the moment. Please.

Nonnie Mon 05-Mar-18 11:55:28

Lazi and Vampire I'll do that ironing for nothing as long as there is something good on the radio. I quite like ironing!

Henetha I'll organise your paperwork, I've often thought there must be a good business opportunity doing that. I like having mine all up to date and organised and I'm a spreadsheet queen!

Can I have one who will not only make my house look incredibly inviting to prospective purchasers but also guide said purchaser to our door? I have decluttered to a huge extent and DH says too much. I just don't have the interior decorator's eye.

Greyduster Mon 05-Mar-18 12:06:28

A parking fairy!! blush

hildajenniJ Mon 05-Mar-18 12:18:53

The "change a king size duvet cover " fairy would do me nicely. I almost have to clamber inside with the duvet to put on the new cover!

lemongrove Mon 05-Mar-18 15:06:57

A fairy that enjoys planting tubs, pots and hanging baskets would be handy.I still do it all ( and far too many) but end up with an aching back.

Jalima1108 Mon 05-Mar-18 15:23:11

I have an ironing fairy but I don't think he'd be too pleased if I called him that grin

An oven cleaning fairy
A fairy who will wave her magic wand and organise all the junk in this house and attic into boxes which she will dispose of in various ways: auction, charity, tip.

Jalima1108 Mon 05-Mar-18 15:24:48

I'll organise the paperwork in exchange for someone cleaning my oven
smile

Bridgeit Mon 05-Mar-18 15:30:06

Definitely a chef ?‍♀️

BBbevan Mon 05-Mar-18 16:05:53

I'd like a nanny fairy to watch over my 2GDs, so that nothing bad ever happens to them and they are always happy.
