Which fairy would you like to help you?

Right now I'd like a fairy that could provide secure tenancies for all the homeless and vulnerably housed people I'm working with. I need a legal fairy to tell me how to help the lady who owns her own flat, but can't afford the (ever-increasing) service and maintenance charges on her fixed income and may lose the home she OWNS!!!
Sorry to introduce a serious note into a light-hearted discussion, but honestly there are days when I just don't feel I can keep up with staying one step ahead of my poor, poor clients who only want to feel secure in a home of their own. Today is one of those days.

Sorry, but some of you are being greedy. Fairies have rights and their work conditions are covered (rightly) by a load of conditions. Your fairy can do the ironing or massage your poor feet but she’s not going to work miracles.
I need my fairy to wipe my eyes and fill the dog-shaped hole in my life.

There are some lovely flats around suitable for older people with lovely grounds maintained by gardeners etc - but a kind fairy warned us of the high service and maintenance charges and how they increase exponentially over the years.

Apologies for slight change of subject, but there was a very interesting article in radio 4 about exactly that Jalima . People buying over 55 apartments only to find that they were unable to sell them (or afford to keep them) due to the ever increasing monthly maintenance /management fees.

I desperately need a secretarial/filing fairy. I am very good at cleaning loos, baths etc. I will do anything except dusting in exchange. Sorry, I nearly forgot,ironing is not my forte- I have not used an iron for a year.

I'll be there tomorrow Charleygirl to organise your paperwork; if you could just call over here although it could take you more than a day in this place, especially if you clean all the windows inside too.
A nice man comes to do the outside, no need to climb ladders outside.

That's interesting gillybob, I know there were some apartments (converted from a large house) near us but the fees seemed very high and have gone up since.

How about a motivation fairy? She might motivate all of us to do those things we all put off. Like right now I do need to get off here and iron (dread) and clean up my office.
And in the morning she could stop by and slap us in the face to get moving - out for that walk etc.
Although the "time" fairy who would give back to us all those hours spent over the years doing, really useless chores would be the best choice. Think about it, even 4 hours of clean-up per week for 50 years! ARG! (I am rushing off now).
Always wondered what is would have been like to have had "help" and chores done for one - an entirely different life.

I'd like a know where I'm going fairy. I have a terrible sense of direction and I'd like a fairy that can get me to where I need to go. I don't mind driving where I know but get anxious when I have to drive the unfamiliar and I've had to make myself do a lot of that after relocating to another area

Now I’ve moved to a 2 Bedroomed flat, I feel the chores are nothing for instance I never iron my clothes and my husband irons his and pillowcases. I hate cooking everyday meals, so that would be good to have, plus an oven cleaner.

I would have the floor mopping fairy and then make her stand guard so no one walked on it for at least half hour.
A freshly washed hall floor always seems like a magnet for visitors in my house

I'd like th dust and dirt away fairy. If there is no dirt and dust I won't have to clean so much.

I was going to say a hoovering and floor washing fairy, but someone mentioned Brexit and having been born with a wooden spoon in my hand, then a fairy to wave her wand and make all this disastrous, destructive nonsense revert to common sense and inclusion in theEU. Nuff said - for today anyway

An oven cleaning fairy would be fantastic. That is the worst possible job.

I love the idea of the fairy Teetime suggested and was going to say I get fed up with always planning meals especially as I need to stick to a low carb diet. So a nutritional cooking fairy would be ideal. Washing and ironing I am happy to do and I have my lovely fairy A who does the cleaning and bed changing. She even been known to bath the dogs if they are a bit smelly.

I would like Mary Poppins to visit my DS and DIL to do a big magic turf out, tidy up and spring clean before lunch on Mother’s Day.

I had the. Oven cleaning fairy yesterday. Oh it was worth every penny. They were called ovens2new. It's like having a beautiful new cooker. If I could afford her I would love a cleaning fairy. I've often said I was put on this earth to do anything other than cleaning. I'm not a housewife.

I'd like an eBay fairy to write all the descriptions and measurements of the stuff I want to sell. The thought of the time involved is too much for me to stomach.

A snow clearing fairy, please. And if she or he felt like mowing the lawn in the summer that would be fine by me.

Definitely a fairy to clean my venetian blinds. I have the b****y things all over the house. I have tried cleaning companies but can't find one that does it.

I would definitely have a food fairy - one to decide what we are going to eat, shop for it, bring it all home and put it away nicely in cupboards, fridge and freezer and, if its not asking too much, cook it was well! Cleaning of every description I can do, washing, ironing, changing beds etc a doddleas is oaperwork etc, but food, HELP,
