Interview with Father Christmas

Local radio has this morning managed a scoop with an interview with Father Christmas and he has been answering questions from children ringing in. One little boy made me laugh out loud. He asked Father Christmas why he had not brought him everything he wanted last year. Father Christmas said it was because although he had been mostly good, he hadn't been good every day - the little boy let out a shout saying "I have to be good EVERY day?" I'm still smiling at that one

Our local station did one too. One little lad asked Santa what he did with all the reindeer poo. Quick as a flash Santa replied "Oh the elves see to all that, they shovel it up and use it to stuff in their mattresses, it keeps them nice and warm at night". The little lad sounded very impressed.

I heard a bit of that on the car radio!

And he is definitely called Father Christmas - not Santa!

he may well be Father Christmas where you live but he's always been Santa Clause here ...lol

Yep, Santa Claus here too. Much jollier and less stern and judgemental than FC, lets youngsters off with minor misdemeanours, and likes a wee hauf or 3.

I wasn't correcting your error in saying Santa - I was just repeating what Father Christmas himself had said when he was asked if he was Santa or Father Christmas during the radio Bristol interview, part of which I heard on the car radio!
