Would this be hypocrisy?

I'm sure there will be lots of (conflicting!) views, but I don't see anything wrong with going along to a service. I'm sure that is how some people found faith.

No, of course not. We had a Muslim friend staying with us one year, he insisted on coming to church with us and I was so happy with it because the service and our priest were so openly welcoming to everybody regardless of creed or no creed.

I'm not a believer ,but I take my Mum -in -law to church when she stays with us...mind you the minister is a good friend so I know he wont chuck me out,and the sermons are always good

I used to go to a church regularly with a man with a learning disability, as I was his keyworker. I thoroughly enjoyed it after a while.

No, it wouldn't be hypocrisy, antonia. Music is an art form and one's allowed to enjoy it and take part in it. Some of my favourite music (actually most of my favourite music!) is religiously flavoured (JS Bach and Handel).

Yes, go to Church. I love the Christmas Carol Service. Our local Methodist Chapel has a Christmas Eve midnight service which is lovely. I don't go the rest of the year, having had a fall out with a previous Minister.
(Long story). I'm always made welcome even so.

Go for it. The Carol service is very enjoyable and jolly, even if you don't actually believe. It is as much part of our culture as the other Xmas traditions.

Make sure you give a generous donation to the upkeep of your local church or to whatever worthy charity is being supported.

No-one is going to stop you on the way out of the church and interrogate you as to whether or not you are a proper Christian,.

Why leave it until next year? I am sure there will be other services between now and Christmas Day. (not trying to convert you, I'm a non believer myself )
