Being very industrious , not, this morning, I've just been out to hang out a load of washing. Before I put up the rotary line, I put my peg basket on the garden table, but where is the umbrella ? Gone, vanished, disappeared. Into thin air. I have looked into both neighbours gardens, nothing, not a trace. Last night I left it up as our little friendly neighbourhood cat was sleeping on the table, and we didn't like to disturb her. During the night the wind must have got up. The umbrella is/was quite heavy, but it's gone, never to be forgotten.
I know said umbrella was old, but it still worked fine, and I wasn't in the market for a new one, yet! I have put out a "Lost" note on Streetwise, and await results.
By the way, the little cat, above, is the one I have mentioned before, was very shy, but has now taken to inviting herself into the house and telling me she is hungry. (I do not feed her). but she is beautiful.
Do you get a mot at the doctors?

So, it's back to a large parasol. Some good came out of the old one though, I made a cover for my rotary washing line, so the upturned bucket is redundant. Haven't SKI 'd, so more in pot for the great grand children, who of course are gorgeous. -
