I don't really understand the question.

I have no idea what motivates me - I have never thought about it. I just am and do!

I look forward to other people's answers.

I think there can be a difference between core values and what motivates you.

I think core values are the tenets you live by such as kindness, respect but things that motivate you can be quite different.

When I was still working I would have said my motivators included recognition , power, knowledge etc but I wouldn't say any of those things are my core values.

I think my core value could be summed up by the title of an old Enid Blyton book ' Mrs Do as you would be done by'.

I have no idea what motivates me either; before I retired it was just to be the best I could be at whatever I did and I hoped that my children would embrace the same philosophy. As for core values, they are what my father instilled into me, and I have tried to instil into my children:
Love of country,
Loyalty,
Compassion,
Integrity,
Respect for others.

I agree with N&G for me core values and motivation are different things. Basically I'm not a motovated person and never have been. I've always just rolled along letting it happen.
My core values are all that others have mentioned.

My OH motivates me, I'm lazy by nature, give me a book or some knitting and I'm happy. But if he's busy say gardening, I'm out there.

My core values are similar to all that others have mentioned too.

I am motivated by my family and the weather.

My values are the 10 commandments taught to me as a young child by my father.
I am not a practising Christian but I suppose something that has been instilled from such a young age sticks.

I am motivated mainly by my desire to look after my family. I am generous with my time and happy to share anything I have.

Feels like I am being interviewed for Miss World

For motivators you could also read drivers/ positive energisers / what makes us want to respond in life ...

Didn't mean this to sound priggish / virtuous - I just found it interesting to have to think it through for myself.
