Which is my local page?

I'm new Gransnet and I'm enjoying exploring the website.

I live in Grimsby and thought I'd look for my 'Local' page but I'm struggling to know which 'area' I am in. Grimsby is in North East Lincolnshire, which isn't listed so I thought maybe we have been grouped in with Lincolnshire but most conversations are based around Lincoln.

Historically (geographically) we were grouped with Lincolnshire until we joined Hull (Humberside) which is on the other side of the River Humber) but they have their own page (under the East Riding of Yorkshire).

Our postcode begins DN (Doncaster) but I'm still unsure which local group on Gransnet is 'my local group'. Am I having a senior moment or am I just missing my area?

I'm looking forward to exploring the forums.

PS. I've used my username on many other forums, (MissingLincs = Miss in Lincs) and I didn't choose it because I couldn't find my local page on Gransnet!

Unfortunately Gransnet does not have full coverage of editors for areas and are constantly looking for volunteers (I do Leicestershire)if you cant find a page that includes your area perhaps you might consider starting one yourself?

Thanks for your reply Teetime I understand now. I think I'm too new to Gransnet at the moment to jump into becoming an editor but thanks for the info. xx

I've just had a look and can't find Grimsby in the Linconshire drop down menu.
I'll email GNHQ and get it added.
