Stormy weather

Apparently there is a 'front' approaching and we shall have a few days of unsettled weather.
I'm lying in bed with a window open and enjoying a strong, cool breeze - it's absolute bliss after the last few sticky, sweltering nights!
I don't much care for excessively hot weather- it puts me out of action and I can't sleep, but I am obviously made of sterner stuff than some.
My friend who is night sister in a local hospital, said several people have actually attended A&E demanding help because they can't sleep in the heat!
Honestly, some people! I would have been very rude indeed, but the kind and tolerant medics apparently advised ice-packs and cold drinks, and would not under any circumstances give in to demands for sleeping pills!
