Good morning everyone. It's fine at the moment in Lancashire but it won't last.
I'm waiting for 3 year old DGD to arrive, she will get me organised.
Just caught up with yesterday's good morning thread and it became a busy GN cafe, loved it.

Good morning Michael, and all GNs. It's going to be another wet grey horrible day in South Yorkshire. Food shopping and that's about it today, though we have to try and think of something to get GS for his birthday - he's singularly devoid of ideas this year and it is getting perilously close! We're expecting rain and then more rain in N Kent, then on Friday high winds. I'd rather have cold dry weather.
No plans today, I was having lunch with a friend but as she very often does she's cancelled.

It's quite calm in North Leicestershire this morning but we are expecting the wind and rain later this week.

We have an electrician coming at 9 am to do things in the study so I'd better get going. School run this pm - bet it rains!!

Update on my hair for those who asked. It definitely feels smoother and looks Fuller. The treatment is called olaplex and costs £20 per treatment - probably every 3 months.

Glad you got the desired effect Kitty with your hair. Since I found a brand new but old curling tong in the back of a cupboard, I now use it to give my hair a quick flick each morning and even DH said how nice it looked.

What a disappointment Nina your friend cancelled, if I lived near you I would happily take her place. I do like lunch out.

Good morning everyone.
I have retired from early morning cleaning. Yippee ? I've not been getting up early. What a relief for an owl. I'm only going when needed for holiday relief etc. Anyway, here's the weather report from the Tyne Valley. The grey clouds are gradually breaking up and now the sun is out. It's quite mild too. I must try and get my hair cut before the end f the week.

Light grey in Durham and off to get my 66p from the co op if it's going on it's uppers. They keep sending me a piece of paper which says I have 66 p in a long defunct account and they will not put it in the charity box by phone. Probably costs more than that to send the paper.
