On Friday I met a friend at 09.30 for breakfast and was amazed at the number of people in the (trendy) non-chain cafe. I shouldn't be surprised, after all I was there!
. It was bitterly cold in London on Friday, it was 09.30, and not a tourist area - most seemed to be local and regulars, and all ages.
The menu was great, including a selection of 'Bennies' (variations on Eggs Benedict
)
Porridge was £4.50
Does anyone regularly go out for breakfast?

Professor Jason Arday - plagiarism etc

. My other option is the upmarket place where eggs on toast starts at £11 and the service is slower than slow. No contest!
