Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark but mild start here in Brackley this morning, looks like we will have to wait for the more seasonal weather for a few days.

Good morning Mick and All.

Mild here in the Thames Valley which will suit me as tonight DH and I are going with my WI to the Christmas lights at Kew Gardens, they are supposed to be lovely.

Have a good day everyone and Kitty.

Morning Mick, Nan, All

Dark, still, mild and misty in Norfolk.

DH has decreed that we're going out today. No idea where, but the beach was mentioned - so I have hopes for fish and chip lunch on the pier. I think he's hoping the sea air will help heal my hacking cough - nothing else has worked so far.

(please, HQ will you get rid of the horrible yellow banners down the sides of the Active Page. Most distracting and completely counterproductive.)

Morning all!

It's warm in North Leicestershire but still dark so that's all I know.grin

We are going to get the last few presents today and then I am going to do the tree.

I doubt our tree will be anything like as good as Kew Kate - enjoy. Also enjoy fish and chips by the sea nfk - the best place to eat them.

Enjoy your days everyone! sunshine

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark in South Yorkshire but set to be dry I think. I have a hospital appointment this morning that I am really not looking forward to. If it doesn't take too long, and I feel up to it, we may get some coffee in town before we come home. These things are set to try us! Have a happy day, folks.

Morning All. Dark, damp and dismal in our corner of Somerset unlike my nose which is glowing from the horrid cold that has taken me over. If Rudolph needs a stand in then that's me grin. Plan a quiet day before a night time visit to a National Teust property. Hope Friday is kind to you.

Good morning everybody, still mild here but also still dark.
Off to the DGSs' Nativity play in Birmingham - tissues at the ready!! Going by train to avoid coming home on the M1/M6 on a Friday night. Now all I have to worry about is parking at MK station - and that can be a nightmare
Have a lovely day all, Kew and the lights sounds lovely as does fish and chips at the seaside!!

Morning all! Still dark here on the south coast but the promised fog does not appear to have formed.

It's the WI Christmas meeting this morning and I have just had a tearful phone call from the lady who is making and bringing the sausage rolls to say that her cat has just died but she will come in as soon as she has been to the vet. Not sure why that would be appropriate if poor puss is dead? confused

Enjoy all your various activities everyone - really like the sound of Kew!

Morning all
Dull start in N Kent. H is off to London this morning for his annual piss up meal and drink with those he used to play Sunday football with 40 yrs ago. It's organized by his cousin whom he will stay the night with.
Gagagran the poor lady will probably be taking the body for disposal or to arrange cremation. The vet would then arrange for the cat's ashes to be returned to her.

Good morning from a grey damp Colchester. Temperature in double figures though.
Extra netball practice in the park this morning as our Walking Netball group will be playing other teams in the new year.
DH and I are going to a wine tasting class this evening on pairing Christmas food and wine. It's a freebee earned through advertising the classes on Gransnet Local, one of the perks of being a local editor.

Good morning, mild here again and most unseasonal. Nothing planned for today so will crack on and wrap birthday gifts for the family.

Good morning to you all from a very dreary mild south coast, I must say I prefer it bright and cold, but since we never know with this country what the weather will be like, we should be used to it by now! At this time last week I arranged to go out to lunch with a group of friends today, a treat, then a couple of days later two friends who travel quite a way to visit us said they would pop in for an cup of coffee this morning (if convenient - of course it is convenient!), and yesterday our grandson of all people sent me an e-mail to ask if he could come this morning for an hour! It never rains but it pours. He has never visited us on his own, mainly of course because the journey by public transport is a bit difficult, he now has his own car, and we shall be delighted to see him, such a pity for only a short while. Wonder if I should have cancelled our meal, which we are both looking forward to. Oh Dear. Enjoy your days.

Good morning one and all.
Busy day for most of us, it seems. Enjoy Kew Nightlights, Nativity, WI lunch, food and wine pairing, visits from friends and son, bracing seaside visit( hope this cures the cough)!
Christmas food ordering for me today! Only local cards left to write and send.Hurrah!
