This morning I found a pair of my son's football boots in the garage. He hadn't missed them. And the reason he hadn't missed them is because he not only grew out of them about 15 years ago but he also hasn't lived at home for donkeys! Why did I not throw them out then? I have a very strange sense of nostalgia. (I still haven't thrown them out. They're by the door ready to go in the bin, but I haven't actually put them yet.) What's wrong with me?!
