Buses are so much better Mick than they used to be, no smell of cigarettes and as you say warm in the winter.

It's clear and calm here in the Thames Valley.

Some kind friends from my WI are taking me out for a Cream Tea as a belated 70th Birthday treat this afternoon

It's cold and drizzly in North Leicestershire despite the fact that Sarah Blizzard is currently saying that today will be dry.

A day of cooking for me today as DD2 and family are coming for the weekend.

I'm still laying in bed so not sure about the weather. We had rain yesterday evening for the first time in ages. Food shopping this morning.

I can't sit on those metal seats at bus stops and railway stations Mick brrrr much too cold on the rear end.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A dry day in prospect in South Yorkshire. Today is my 70th birthday. I feel oddly deflated. We are going out to lunch later and having a family gathering on Sunday. Have a lovely day whatever you are doing!

Good morning from a cloudy Colchester. Rain forecast for later. Wore woolly hat,gloves and scarf last night. It felt weird after such a long warm spell.
We have perches at bus stops here that are not very easy to use.

Rain was forecast overnight but not a spot, the poor garden is like dust. I shall have to go out with watering can.

Mums today. DH is having a reunion with all his work colleagues.

At last the house is up to scratch, calmness reigns!

Today DH and I are having a ride to Dobbies to return a jumper I bought at Cotton Traders. It's a size 14 but it's huge, either they have very generous sizes or I've shrunk. We might carry on into Morpeth and visit my sister.

I'm in a state of IBS shock this morning, since 0100, for the third time in a month. I think the culprit is raw nuts. Nuff said.

If I can muster some energy I might do some wall painting but mostly I'm going to drink weak tea and eat Rich Tea biscuits or cream crackers. I've some complicated sweater knitting to get on with too.

Noticed a very light rain about 9pm last night but not enough to give the plants a drink. I shall have to take the watering can to them, although rain is forecast later for when I'm on school pick-up for DGS.
