Dull and very still here in N Kent. There is a hint of brightness I think. We could do with some overnight rain. H had to water pots and get the mower back out of hibernation yesterday.

Good morning, Michael, and all GNs. Another dry day in prospect for South Yorkshire. I opened the curtains this morning to see a huge skein of geese going past, flying South. With a pink and pearl grey sky in the background they were a lovely sight. Like a living Peter Scott painting! I have a stinking cold and a sore throat today - a present from GS I suspect. He wasn't that well over his two day stay, poor little chap. Nothing much planned except food shopping and domestics. Enjoy your day, folks.

The morning in Tynedale dawns bright and clear. Gone is the fog of yesterday. Today I am beginning my preparations for my visit to the grandchildren. It's DGS 3's fourth birthday on Sunday so I'm going to help him celebrate. Apparently we are going to a Halloween party/do. Granny has to dress up as a vampire!??.

Good morning all.
Just dull here in Stockport but milder overnight.
My D and GD are here, she rallied enough to come, I think the thought of a day shopping rallied her, at 14 she likes clothes.
She is 5'7" and towers over D and myself. GD 1 is coming for a meal with us tonight,I am so looking forward to that, family get togethers are rare now.

A late good morning to you all, from an "All things bright and beautiful" morning, the sun is shining and I am sure the birds are singing if I could hear them, certainly the robin is busy out there. Had a lovely afternoon with our blind and partially sighted friends yesterday, and picking up the o.h. new specs later on, so hopefully he will be able to read the labels himself (if he can be bothered) Enjoy your days.
