Morning Mick

Been awake for ages - flu/shingles jab reaction. Hey ho! Such is life.
Bit of housework today and taking it a bit easy, really need to get into the garden, but the whole week is looking good weather-wise so plenty of time.
Enjoy your day everyone

Woke to a beautiful pink flushed sky this morning and a fresh breeze. Lovely. Meanwhile I'm hobbling around because my back is complaining about the painting I've been doing (or something; it complains all the time so I'm never sure why it spikes). My leg muscles get some good exercise doing all the bending that my back doesn't want to do. Hey ho.

I'll be going along to a local day centre later to sew in ends, tidying up pieces someone has knitted, getting them ready to make a work of art blanket smile

Good morning all from an autumnal North Leicestershire.

We had a lovely day yesterday at DGD4's 3rd birthday party but I'm jiggered now. grin I will be pottering this morning as I have a shift in the library this afternoon and I find that quite tiring but loads of fun.

Enjoy your Mondays everyone sunshine

Morning All. Lovely bright morning in our corner of Somerset. Need to do some sorting after a supermarket trip. Definite Mother Hubbard look to the cupboards. Hope Monday is kind to you.

Morning all.
Bright and sunny in N Kent and forecast to stay that way. So the first load of washing is in the machine. I'm trying not to get too excited as we have a tip run to do this morning

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Chilly with a clear blue sky...just how I like it!
Been asked to chat about grandparenting on Radio Essex this morning in my capacity as a GN local editor. Spreading the word about all you lovely people.
Then it's supermarket and school parent meeting.

Good morning, beautiful autumn day and just 1 degree at present.

Good morning all.
Fine in Lancashire this morning, need to put tee shirts away and get jumpers out though.
Such busy, interesting lives many GN's have and I very much enjoy hearing everyone's plans. I'm still (slowly) clearing my parents house and will be getting on with that today.
Hope you all have a good day.

All the best for your radio broadcast Pittcity, feel excited and nervous for you.

Good morning everyone.
It's a misty start in the Tyne Valley but looks like a sunny day to follow. At last my landing is clear ?. My H has been shredding paperwork, some from as far back as 2003! Why he keeps it so long, I'll never know. Just the usual household stuff to do today, washing, ironing etc.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining again in South Yorkshire, but it is very chilly! Time to change drag out a heavier duvet, I think. A quiet morning for us - may go to the library - and then school run this afternoon and maybe a trip to the park after. Have a good day, folks.

Season of mists here this morning but the sun is struggling through. Found a very large shiny blue balloon in the courtyard this morning. I was wondering if if I had missed a party in my garden overnight! I will blame the students as they're back now.

Thanks Nana3, it's not as bad as it sounds, just a chat over the phone. I've done it before and was really thrown by the presenter's questions, so I hope this one is easier.
