I left school in 1967 (aged 16). I never really kept in touch with my school companions, and out of the 130+ of us in that intake year I really only know 4 today (and one of those lives in Tasmania).
We held a reunion in 1991, which was the year that we all turned 40. For a variety of reasons I was in an unhappy place in the early nineties and although I went to that reunion I don't really remember it.
Well this year we all turn 65, and we have another reunion - tonight. My life is a bit different today to how it was in 1991. I am solvent, sober (teetotal in fact), and loving life. So I am going to see how many people I can recognise. Wish me luck!
