Perculiar ad

I've seen the previous one for Money Supermarket with just the one man in hotpants and what looks like a padded bum prancing about, and the other bloke in overalls gyrating about on the floor.

Apparently it was the most complained-about ad on tv, but that hasn't stopped it being shown, and now this new one...

Like so many ads that are weird, the object is that you remember them, MS have succeeded in this respect.

It may have made me remember it but I would never,never buy insurance from them. On a matter of principle I suppose.

I think it's funny - to my mind it's a parody of those music videos with female stars pouting and gyrating around suggestively. Most people though think it's gross so I seem to be in a minority.

It's actually a price comparison insurance site, so don't be too sure you're not with one of their recommendations already, millymouge!

I too think it's weird as I can't take my eyes off his bum and legs trying to see if they are real or not and don't really ' get it' but then I think there's a lot I don't get The one that annoys me most at the moment is that awful ' sure you can' also insurance I think and the stupid woman that falls off her chair with some yogurt stuff on her nose I really can't be bothered with watching them

Just watched it. It is so awful. I would never buy from them. Made me feel quite nauseous.

It wouldn't entice me to buy and I really didn't like the original one but I think this one is very funny when we saw it for the first tme. I'm sure I'll get sick of it before long though

Does anyone actually remember what companies or products adverts are actually for? There are many that I remember the advert but couldn't tell you for the life of me what it is advertising. I know the advert you're talking about and I know it's for a comparison site (I think) but which one it is I've no idea. Car adverts -could describe the advert but no idea what car make it's for. David Beckham is running around the streets (they can show this as much as they like but I don't know why he's doing it. The annoying woman who falls off the chair with a dab of yoghurt - no idea what the product is.

All that money spent and it's lost on me. Still go on using the old tried and trusted products.

I hate the ad, don't know why it would make me use them? Maybe it's the dislike element that sticks it in your mind.

Exactly BadenKate many ads don't get the message to viewers, do they?The old ads, although often boring, did the trick....Beanz Meanz Heinz, Persil Washes Whiter,
Don't Forget The Fruitgums Mum! Etc.

All car ads blend into one for me.

I REALLY HATE that ad - I can't even watch it, so turn away Then I find myself humming the bl**dy song. So annoying.

It's a vile ad. I have to look away, but I'm not sure what's so awful about it.

Mind you, GoCompare is,almost as annoying.

I get the feeling that the ad is probably not aimed at our generation! Prefer the pole dancer to the other one who I find rather off putting.
