Good morning all, weather is fresh with some blue skies here in the Fens.

Much cooler in N Kent today. We were forecast heavy overnight rain. Which would have been good for the garden but have had nothing. GS x2 over night who have been awake since 6am. Joy !

Very breezy and overcast here in North Norfolk, with occasional squally wetness. DS has planned to go kite surfing off Hunstanton this morning, I hope it's not too gusty.

Ironing and housework this morning and it looks like I'll have to re-boil my plum jam - the promised good set of yesterday seems not to have happened. At the moment it's a pour over sauce!

Ha, Mick Harrogate is down south to me. ?
The rain overnight woke me up!! It's fair at present but I think we're due more rain. There was a terrible road accident just a couple of miles from me yesterday. The A69 was closed nearly all day. Sadly 2 people killed and 8 injured. Two air ambulances attended. Our MP is pressing for the road to be dialled. This is long overdue.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. MIchael, enjoy your trip to God's Own County . A good stretch of the legs from where you live. My son lives in York; lovely city. Oddly, though I have been through Harrogate, I've never actually visited it. A dull start here in South Yorkshire. I hope it doesn't rain - DD, GS and s-i-l are doing a charity bike ride this morning. Have a good day, folks.

Good morning to you all, a cooler start to the day here, which is good for me. Off to a "Listeners Lunch" today, organised by the Chichester Talking News. (local newspaper for the blind). Have a bout of cystitis at the moment, so hope I will make it. Enjoy your days.

Wet here and very grey. Not a lot to look forward to. A bit of cabin fever I think.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Promised rain arrived yesterday afternoon and persisted overnight. Now breezy with a blue sky, lovely.
As DH is working nights and is not home yet, we have no plans except roast chicken lunch as he has to go back to work at 5pm. The trains are rubbish at weekends!
Have a lovely trip Mick and I hope somebody remembers to post tomorrow in your absence.
