A sunny start in N Kent. Very windy and rain forecast it's sure to happen as it's the day of the local carnival and fireworks tonight. We have DGs today.

Morning everyone. Grey here in Perthshire but at least it's not raining like all of yesterday. Home today. We're intending to stop off at the Falkirk Wheel if the weather stays OK. We saw it on the canal programme with Timothy West and Prunella Scales, so looking forward to it

Good morning all, I did something very unusual for me this morning, I just stayed in bed - usually as soon as I am awake (unless it is 5.30 in the morning) I am up and about, but I just felt like a long laze this morning, and now I am trying to catch up. I rather foolishly agreed to take part in a club bowls competition this afternoon and like whitewave we have really strong winds, so the woods will be all over the place. Enjoy your days.

We currently have DD2, 2DGD and 1 DSiL staying. Tonight we will have DD3, her partner and 2DGC as well. Does anyone have a nice quiet room I can stay in?
