Good morning, Michael ad all GNs. A grey and chilly start in South Yorkshire this morning, and misty. No breeze either to shift it, yet. We are forecast rain I think, but may try and get a walk in at some point. Have a good day, whatever you are doing.

It's still a bit muggy with rain forecast in North Leicestershire. We have a Street Market and village party today so I hope the rain doesn't spoil things. I particularly hope it holds off for my stint on the library stall!

It started to rain here in Brackley about 30 minutes ago, we have a queen 90th picnic lunch in the park today, and also one or two others I know will be at the one in the mall, they are being provided with ponchos there.

Good morning to you all, and thank goodness it is cooler today, that hot weather really did upset me, and we have had rain overnight. Sorry to all you folk who love the heat and have had nothing but rain! Not a lot planned, still feeling very "off colour" but better. Enjoy your days.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. The rain finally got here yesterday afternoon. It was a welcome relief as it felt so close that a release was needed. More rain expected today. Think I'll watch the celebrations on TV while tackling the ever present pile of ironing.

Drizzly here in Shropshire. Quiet day today after GP duties for the last few days. We got drowned yesterday in Stockport - it came down in sheets - so hoping for less damp today! Hope everyone who has anything planned today has good weather.

Dripping gently here in Oxon. Good for grass growing, I guess.
Forecast looks the same for the next few days.
Only thing I can think of to do today is to take some stuff to the charity shop that's open on Sundays....I've been culling my clothes.

It is now a lovely morning here in the north of Scotland after a pretty wet start. Not much happening in this part of the world to celebrate the Queen's birthday although there are some events in Edinburgh. It seems to be more an English thing which is a pity as we know she loves Scotland.

Another terrible night with jetlag but woken to an overcast but bright day !

We shall be celebrating here with the Queen - complete with scones and clotted cream and jam !!

Quiet here today in terms of weather, we had rain of biblical proportions here yesterday, lots of flooding which has been unknown before.
Going to a neighbours house for coffee soon, she has to come for me poor soul that I have become.
For anyone partying today in the open I hope it stays dry for you.

Good Morning from a dull and damp Fife.
Pity as there's a Champagne and Strawberry Afternoon tea in the village to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.
Packing for me later today as off to The Netherlands tomorrow to celebrate GS's 11th birthday on Wednesday!!

Raining here as Alie says ,dripping gently.Good for the garden. Have just had lovely cooked full English breakfast, watched Andrew Marr and now time for excercises and a shower.Happy Sunday.

Supposed to be going to a steam engine rally but the damp weather, and the cost of getting in (17 quid for three of us!) rather putting me off. Alright if it's a lovely sunny day but not sure if it's worth it today. Sigh.

Well just been out with some neighbour's putting up bunting across the road. The rain has stopped-hurray!
We had a lovely birthday lunch (everyone brought something) at a local church for a lady who will be 100 tomorrow.
So we'll be putting out tables and chairs in the road at 5pm.
I've some waving flags for the tables.
An easy and a difficult quiz on queen's life and I've made a crown for the winner! Lol!
So looking forward to meeting up with neighbour's, wearing red, white and blue and our house numbers and names.
Not a monarchist in the least but it's a lovely opportunity to get together. Some have said they won't come if it's for the queen's birthday but I've said it's just a street party-end of!

Well I got my stuff to the charity shop! 4 bags of it. That's done. Thanks for greeting, Mick.

Ooo I love steam rallys

Yes, we went to the steam engine rally. I went on the gallopers merry-go-round (for the first time in my life). Lovely view from up there. Proper steam drven roundabout it was, with smoke coming out the top. I only got a little bit dizzy.

Getting off it was the hardest part.
