Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Another lovely sunny start here in South Yorkshire. Supposed to be going to aquafit this morning, but have to get the tyres checked out on the car as there is a warning light showing that there's a problem somewhere. Hey ho. I feel down today, in spite of the sunshine. Hope you all enjoy your day.

Good morning Mick, morning all!

It's a lovely start again today but thunderstorms are forecast later.

I had an interesting day yesterday beginning with a phone call from DD1 at 8.15 asking if I could take her to hospital. She had gone to the gp after suffering stomach pain for about a week. He referred her to the Surgical Assessment unit where she remains, awaiting an endoscopy. So guess what I'm doing today - visiting Dd and doing the school run.

Enjoy your days everyone!

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Warm and humid today with thunderstorms expected this evening.
DH has a day off so I hope we can get some gardening done. We would like to move our raised vegetable patch, but the new spot needs preparation including getting rid of a stubborn stump!
Maybe just mowing and weeding for us today and getting someone in to do the heavy work.

Good morning everyone.
Lovely morning in the Tyne Valley, sunny, warm and still. Must start emptying the living room today or tomorrow in readiness for the decorator coming. We have finally settled on a colour after daubing the wall with numerous test pots. New carpet ordered yesterday. My, we will be smart!
Have a good day everyone.

Off to Llandudno today for 'afternoon tea' with a voucher from younger son. Booked at the George on the seafront - now trying to decide what to wear hmm

Good morning all.
If there is one thing which makes me green with envy it is the thought of someone going to Llandudno. One of my favourite places ever. Keep exotic, give me N Wales.
Best wishes to your DD kitty hope it soon diagnosed.

After 3 solid weeks of wall to wall sunshine, today here it is pouring with rain after a night of thunderstorms. Well, the garden needed it even if we don't. Our 40 shades of green were turning into 40 shades of brown!

So back to normality: raincoats, indoor housework and muddy dog. Summer is over. Still warm though.

Have just got the grandsons off to school. Phew!

Enjoy your sunshine everyone in England.

Good morning. Slightly overcast at the moment but there's a hint of sunlight and it's already warm. The big question in my mind is: is it time for me to change to my summer, tog 4.5 duvet?

kittylester Tue 07-Jun-16 09:46:48

No!! Don't jinx it Anno!
