This sounds like malware, try running one of the malware tools such as malwarebytes.

Thought techies were already on it? I'm using phone most of the time so must try laptop and see if it makes a difference. It's b annoying.

HQ are aware through the other thread. It's some sort of add. It's been there on and off for about a week on my Android phone.
