OMG my ex did that. He insisted I was having an affair with someone called Sam. Sam was actually short for the Samaritans.

Your daughter has my sympathy. It sounds daft but I felt violated. My phone was private and he broke into it.

My ex didn't stop at my phone. He hacked my desktop and joined forums that I belonged to. I would suggest that your daughter changes her passwords just to play safe. I asked someone who my ex didn't know to choose a new password for me because it made it much harder for my ex to make an educated guess at what it might be.

Why am I not surprised nina? It's awful. The Idiot posted as Dd on Fb for a while - it is a violation. Is it illegal? flowers

harrigran Sun 15-May-16 23:24:54

If it is not, it ought to be. Scumbags.

Nana3 Sun 15-May-16 23:55:07

You must be beside yourself Nina.

My ex husband read my diary, accused me of having an affair with a guy. I had wrote a guy's name in, the one who showed me and my children around the camping shop and we'd had a laugh with! But definately no affair. Idiot.

ninathenana Mon 16-May-16 08:56:48

Just when we think he can be a grown up and have a civilized relationship with D he shows his true colours again.
Oh yeah, he woke his brother up so he could show him too !

shysal Mon 16-May-16 10:05:23

Once an idiot always an idiot it seems. I can sympathise nina sad.
DD's ex did the same thing. She now deletes everything after reading and notes anything important in a diary. She also changed to Pay as you Go as she was sure he was accessing the call listings/billing details.
DD's life would be so much more relaxed without the constant controlling behaviour from a distance. He hasn't yet paid any child maintenance for this year, but could afford a snowboarding holiday with his friends! She is reluctant to make a fuss as she knows from experience that he will find a way to 'punish' her through the children, and is even less likely to pay up.

ninathenana Mon 16-May-16 10:17:38

shysal I could have written your post. Apart from the fact the children live with him.

shysal Mon 16-May-16 10:21:19

nina, angrysad

kittylester Mon 16-May-16 10:26:27

I'll join the club. The beeping Idiot couldn't afford to pay DD 'her' money this month because he had to go on a stag weekend. I wouldn't mind but he's fifty flipping two!!

kittylester Mon 16-May-16 10:27:23

What we need is the grans hit squad that existed a few years ago!!

shysal Mon 16-May-16 10:33:02

Am I a dreadful person to hope he is involved whenever I hear of a local fatal accident? blush I have never felt such loathing for a person before in my life. We are like lionesses when trying to protect our families aren't we?

mischief Mon 16-May-16 11:12:15

This happened to my daughter. Her ex got into all her emails and continually rang her on her mobile, leaving threatening messages. She didn't answer obviously. It was terrible for her at the time and I felt so helpless but after the divorce things got better.

She met a lovely man and they are now married with two beautiful daughters and are very happy. So Nina, although it is horrible now, things can only get better. Feeling for you. winecupcake

Linsco56 Mon 16-May-16 11:16:24

I'm fairly certain hacking into another's mobile is illegal and is covered by the Electronic Communications Act....What an absolute git!...sad, pathetic individual that he is.

Lupatria Mon 16-May-16 11:36:59

oh ninathenana, i've got one of those too. while he's not actually got my daughter's mobile and gone into her messages, he's just acting as a complete and utter pr*t.
my oldest grandaughter has seen what he's like and doesn't have a lot to do with him [unless there's something in it for her!!] but the younger one still thinks the sun shines out of his a*se!!
he's controlling and manipulative with the younger grandaughter and tends to bully her into eating all the wrong foods so that she throws up when she gets home after seeing him.
he has absolutely no idea of parenting. last year he took both girls to the bournemouth air show and let them go on the beach. doesn't sound too bad? he then proceeded to go up to the end of the pier leaving a 13 year old and a 9.5 year old on the beach - going into the water swimming!!! he thought that as the lifeguards were on duty it would be ok!!
as grandaughters were on the child protection register at the time [long harrowing story] i can tell you that social services took a very dim view of this and spoke to him quite severely .......... not that it did a lot of good as he couldn't see he'd done anything wrong!

shysal, no you're not a bad person to think about fatal accidents locally - i do the same!! i think it would make life a lot easier if something did happen to him - and i know that's callous and unfeeling.

kittylester Mon 16-May-16 11:55:58

I occasionally wish for something bad to happen to the Idiot bur then feel ashamed. I've just heard from DD that he dies twang any of the end offers nursery photos because they don't look like the children. Nor does he want any for his mum. I am actually beginning to feel sorry for her as she rarely see them. Bonkers!!

ninathenana Mon 16-May-16 12:35:32

Latest if she doesn't go back to him she will have very limited access or even supervised access.

maryeve Mon 16-May-16 13:42:22

Love the idea of the grains hit squad,my DD s ex is so broke he can't pay her maintenance but he is off to Thailand for a months holiday!!!!
