Husband of the late Margaret Forster, he is a well known journalist (Sunday Times, but not exclusively ) and has the OBE.

Love Hunter Davies, his wit is so dry and spot on

Oh dear Alea - I can't get on my knees at the mo- but thank you, so very much (you just can't help it can you???).

Been rather busy doing physio, exercise machine, had a snooze as exhausted after the walk- you know ... life. Come on ... stop it, it's tiresome, truly.

I loved Hunter's article. So amusing and down to earth. Can't believe he's 80 now and so sad Margaret died.
