North Leicestershire is quite overcast this morning. I have a friend coming for a this morning. She is a bit down so I'm on a mission to make her smile. Then the school run this afternoon.

Well yesterday was a one hit wonder ! Back to the grey start after the wonderful sunshine yesterday.

Such a beautiful spring day yesterday, now we are heading towards a wet Easter. ☔

Overcast at the moment in Lancashire. Had that lovely feeling of the warm sun on me yesterday afternoon, simple pleasures.

All grey and overcast in the Tyne Valley today. I had lovely sunny weather in Glasgow at the weekend. I must have my hair cut before the weekend, I don't like my fringe when I can see it when I look up. I think I might go back to the GP about my painful knee too.

Grey here as it was yesterday and a bit chilly.
Hilda I finally went to the GP last Fri, he has put me on Naproxin and thinks the problem with me comes from my back. I wish they would start to work!! I will certainly go back as I am in constant pain unless in bed, and in this household that is a no-no as I am not actually ill!

Yes, ninathenana what a let-down here in N. Kent! Looking forward to visiting my new school today and hoping to hear some more of my class read to me - a good way to start getting to know individuals.

Maybe chocolate shopping for Easter later. I keep checking for bargains in the supermarkets. A couple of years ago the eggs ran out on Easter Saturday so I don't want to leave it too late.

Good morning from another member of the grey and overcast gang. Hope it brightens up before we get tomorrow's forecast rain as I have some plants to get in before the weekend! that sort.

Good morning all, not very bright this morning, a little misty again. BIG day today, I am going to B &Q! it is only up the road, and I have decided we definitely need a pressure hose and a new garden hose, so got my Diamond Card and off we go. Bowls this pm with the blind and partially sighted. always enjoy that. Enjoy your days.

PRINTMISS a word of warning if you are considering the stretchy type of hose. Yes they are light and very easy to handle but they are subject to rupture at the first touch of a bit of anything even slightly sharp. Ours was full of pin holes within a week as I was dragging it over the drive to the front garden.

Its grey and dull both inside and outside the house in our part of Essex this morning.

A delightful afternoon with 2 of our DGSs yesterday but as both were sporting runny noses I knew I would catch something , and Ive certainly gone down with something overnight.

I do love my little germ machines !!

Dull and not windy so little chance of the cloud clearing here in Wiltshire.
I'm waiting for a local charity to come and collect a fridge and a freezer ('somewhere between 10 and 4' ?) so a bit stuck at the moment.

'New' utility room looks lovely sad me keeps going out to look at it the kitchen's next! Then living room/dining room and after that the hall and stairs will look shabby which means landing and bedrooms might need redecorating too.....

Looking like this is a year of decorating chez Loopy!
