New sofas coming this afternoon and we have to get the old chairs out and up to the sale yard. Hopefully. I seem to remember the men had a little bit of trouble getting them through the front door. It may be an axe job instead!

It is grey and cold in North Leicestershire this morning. I'm meeting some friends for lunch today and then going to see mum. It's almost a month since we were told she only had a couple of days left to live [confused

Rather misty here in Stockport and forecast to be very cold.
I am escaping for a couple of hours at lunchtime to take a friend out for a bite to eat. She is trying to downside after the death of her partner of 23 years and she is being really given the runaround by a vendor and dealing with a very unprofessional Estate agent.

I've had a long lie-in! Took the morning off sick because of my knee, which the GP assures me is stable and undamaged. Probably a sprain!
Anyway, the Tyne Valley is bathed in sunshine, not a cloud in the sky. There has been a very hard frost. Not having the car, I don't know what the outside temperature is, but it looks chilly. Dog going for haircut this afternoon, she'll be cold!
