Morning Mick. Morning All. Dark, damp and windy in our corner of Somerset. Sometimes catch Bargain Hunt, may see Brackley today. Need a food shop though, just hate getting wet on the way back with it! Will it ever stop raining here? One dry day at a time is just not enough. Hope Friday is kind to you all.

Blowing a gale in N Kent - not looking forward to going to Folkestone today as it seems it will be even worse there. And brrrrrr!

Gertrude has arrived but she didn't wake me up last night. I'm glad about that.

Good morning!

Gertrude is here too, at least the windy bit of her. Going to the butchers then a friend's for coffee and then the library today.

Enjoy your Friday!

Morning all. Gertrude woke me, my bedroom window was open as usual and she blew open the curtains. I watched my neighbour's giant conifers struggling with the force of the wind against the lightening sky.

Good morning from a grey, windy Colchester. Just settling down with a cuppa to watch Andy Murray. DH is in bed with man flu. Going to be a fun day!

Good morning Michael, and everyone. Blowing a hooly here in South Yorkshire. Could be worse though. Nothing special planned today. May take the library books back. I don't know how i cope with all the excitement!

Good morning all.
Gertrude blowing away here in Stockport.
Pittcity I hope it is just manflu your H has and not the proper variety. I may get dressed today for the first time in a week. I still feel very fragile.

Good morning. Yes, the trees are tossing merrily here, Ann. The ones across the brook from my house are far too tall and I sometimes fear that a strong gust would bring one down and much as I'd like to get rid of them, I'd rather it didn't happen that way.

Good morning from a gale buffeted north east. I have had my first outing today, had to go back to the ward to have blood taken. Bumped into my consultant who told me they were having a case conference on Monday and he would let me know where we go from here, top marks for consideration smile

Yes, Gertrude's whirling around St.Andrews , too . I was hoping that she'd blow my shed down as I need a new one , but no it's still standing !

Pittcity Fri 29-Jan-16 15:28:35
