Morning Mick. Morning All. Dark, damp and windy in our corner of Somerset. Sometimes catch Bargain Hunt, may see Brackley today. Need a food shop though, just hate getting wet on the way back with it! Will it ever stop raining here? One dry day at a time is just not enough. Hope Friday is kind to you all.

Blowing a gale in N Kent - not looking forward to going to Folkestone today as it seems it will be even worse there. And brrrrrr!

Gertrude has arrived but she didn't wake me up last night. I'm glad about that.

Morning all. Gertrude woke me, my bedroom window was open as usual and she blew open the curtains. I watched my neighbour's giant conifers struggling with the force of the wind against the lightening sky.
