I have spent the whole day in a local church at a villages arts festival I had arranged and it went brilliantly! Big sigh of relief - I am on a real high!
We and FOUR village choirs - it is so good that people are getting the chance to sing in these rural communities. We had children playing recorders, violins, piano and guitar - and singing. There was poetry for many local poets (including me!) and instrumental pieces and a Winnie the Pooh playlet. And of course soup, cakes, tea etc.
I am thrilled that it went so well, and that people had been getting together to learn music for the occasion.
Just planning our villages Christmas event now; and have an idea of a county-wide village choirs festival.
Made up for the hours that I lay awake last night feeling dreadfully sick (how grim that is!) from the antibiotics I a taking for my cystitis. I did not take one this morning as I would not have got through the day - and I am paying for it!

for your hard work. Had cystitis this week also, on second lot of antibiotics. So I sympathise with you. I know you must have had to suffer for your 'Art'.
