I've been up since 4.30 am flippin cough .
There's a distinct chill in the air in N Kent quiet breezy too. It's too early to tell if we'll see the sun
I have an appointment for an assessment on my painful shoulder this afternoon.

Dull and overcast here in South Wales. I notice that the heating has turned itself on again so it must be cold. My son (who is a pub chef) is working a double-shift today (6am to 8pm with a 2-hour break mid-afternoon) which means that I get to run my grandson around all day! So just 10 more minutes on the laptop then I will have to leave to get him for school.

DH has just left for his stint volunteering after sorting out our fence problem with the fence chappies. All happy, and we won't have to knock down our shed - or the utility room!

A cold start but could be nice here in Stockport. We have just had a night away in the Peak District to meet up with old friends and the weather was glorious on both days. I enjoyed being looked after but as usual with DH it was hard work,However ,thankful for small mercies it was a lovely break.

Well, that's the DH off on his travels. He has holiday this week, and has gone to visit the family in Argyll for half term. Lucky thing is going to the Enchanted Forest at Pitlochry tomorrow. It looks fantastic, light show, acrobats in the trees, I hope they have a fine day for it. I have to stay at home with elderly dog . I would love to be with them.

Lovely sunny day again in Devon. Washing's out. Had a letter inviting me to ring and make an appointment with the colorectal dept. Let's just hope the appointments' dept get it right this time after the fiasco last month when I got there and found they'd made the appointment with the wrong clinic, grrr.

Morning all,
The early-morning dog-walkers have taken to using powerful torches, grrrrr. So far they have woken me up any time from 5:20 am. For some reason one particular torch carrier takes great delight in shining his/her torch at bedroom windows grrrr again.
Today was great fun tho' as they have attached lights to their dogs' collars.... like watching shooting stars at ground level.

Good morning. A bit dull at the moment in NE Cheshire but I think the sun will come out as it did yesterday. I still can't manage to get my washing out before the neighbour does, though I've discovered her secret weapon - her husband pegs it out at first light!

Nothing much to do today except deliver a birthday card and flowers to a friend who lives just the other side of the main road here.

Very sunny here in Oxfordshire, DH has taken himself off to yet another garden centre in search of new shrubs to buy( the third trip this week,so I have had enough!)
