Songs in my head .....

There are two songs going around in my head constantly - firstly "When I'm Sixty-Four" - which I will be on Monday shock - how did that happen? I'm sure I've heard some low humming coming from DH every time he comes near me but he swears I'm imagining it hmm
And the second one is "Big Red Combine Harvester" which the diva GD sings and hums constantly (practice for the upcoming Harvest Festival) We live in the country and see a lot of farm traffic - if I'm in the car on my own and see a tractor or combine - I break into song ...
Does anyone else have this song-in-the-head issue...? confused

I often suffer with "ear worm" luckily I don't have one at the moment but I'm getting off this thread pdq before I pick up someone else's

And for some reason I can't fathom just lately Greensleeves ( which I don't even like)
Thought I was only one.

I was only this morning thinking about this as I've got that song that goes, "funny little tune, going round my brain, wish I could remember the name, of the funny little tune". smile

I've always got some tune or other coming out of my gob going round my brain. hmm I think I annoy people. blush

I have a default ear worm, which is The Beatles' Yesterday. I used to love that track, but now I positively hate it. It drives me insane, it's always there if nothing else pops up and takes its place. It's not there at the moment - instead I have a stupid Sky News jingle, ffs!
Why can't I have one of Chopin's preludes? Or something by Beth Nielsen Chapman or Sarah McLachlan?

Oh - ear worms! - all the time, and always one of the songs that I have sung at the last rehearsal. Drives me nuts!

I recently had my 78th birthday, and Elton John's "I'm still standing"
has been haunting me ever since, - in a nice way! [smile}

I always have a song going round in my head. Recently it has been 'Anchors Aweigh' which I hear played by the ice cream van which comes daily! I don't even know the words.

We had a great thread about ear worms this year,and if you didn't have one before, when you had read the entire thread, you had several!
Due to another thread, about music on here, I now have that staple of Gang Shows ' what did Delaware' going through my mind night and day.
