A grey start here, but at least it's not raining. The men got most of the outer roof more or less on yesterday before rain stopped play. Then they went home leaving everything sodden. And we put buckets and pans under the leaks!! Hopefully they'll sort these today before the next lot of rain comes in tomorrow to test them. We're at the 'Why the Hell did we start this phase'!

It is cloudy but bright in Tynedale, and looks like it may be a good day. My Dad is very poorly, and things don't look good. He is peaceful and sleeping, but has not eaten anything since Tuesday. I am going to the care home later as I have been invited to call in anytime I like. I will update you all later.

Got to the hospital yesterday for my appointment, only to find that they had booked me into the wrong OP clinic. They were very apologetic, but now I will have to wait for another appointment with the right person <sigh>
Going to take a run out to Trago Mills today to stock up on a few things. Anyone who lives in Devon or Cornwall will be familiar with Trago Mills - anyone else, hmm, how do you describe it? It's a huge shopping centre, selling just about everything you can think of, from books to car parts, plumbing supplies, carpets, electrical goods, furniture, haberdashery, arts and crafts, toys, clothes, curtains, bedding, cushions. Oh and a large garden centre too . It doesn't sell cars, but I can't think of much else!
