Morrisons Match & More

I've had a Match & More card since the scheme began last Autumn and every week have gathered points. However no points at all for the last few weeks. On querying this today ( having bought several items more expensive in Morrisons than elsewhere) I'm told the points only apply to the overall cost of a shop costing £15.00+ - since when I wonder? Half way to 5000 points/£5.00 voucher I'm almost glad we are soon to have a new Tesco! Seems to be a case of those pesky badgers again.

I didn't realise there was a minimum price. I've been using my card since it started and have several £5 vouchers saved for Christmas.

Similar strange things seem to happening with Tesco vouchers and coupons. This month (August) I received my money off vouchers but no coupons (the ones saving a little money or points when buying items in the store). I queried this with Tesco Customer Services, and they don't seem to be able to come up with any good reason as to why they've stopped sending them out. It looks like the Big Boys are finally having to tighten their belts.

I had a similar experience with Tesco vouchers, Boheminan. I received my product coupons earlier this month. However, the money off coupons arrived yesterday. Hopefully, yours will arrive soon.

vamp, there are different promotions at present, one is the £15 Summer Bonus.

You get a coupon each time that you spend £40 or more. It runs until the 30th August. You need 4 coupons, each from separate weeks (they are numbered week 1 etc), and then you can claim £15 off your shopping (again £40 or more) between 31st August & 6th September.

The vouchers are completely separate. When you swipe your Match & More card, if any of the items you have bought were cheaper elsewhere, you get a money off voucher.

CHECK YOUR VOUCHERS! I got one yesterday for £5, it must be used by 2nd September.

Thanks for that information Nandalot. It seems like Tesco's have started to send coupons and vouchers out separately. It would have been a good idea if they informed customers they were going to do this. I shall wait in anticipation for my coupons to arrive, it must cost them a small fortune in postage costs hmm

My Tesco's money-off and product coupons arrived together, as before, on Wednesday. Most peculiar!

Hi Vampirequeen, check the use by date on any Morrisons vouchers, they usually have an expiry within a few weeks so might not last until Christmas. Phoenix, Match and More no longer works like this, it supposedly averages out the total shop and says if you have saved overall on your Morrisons shop then any over spend on a particular item is therefore cancelled out. This explains the total lack of points over recent weeks, however on price checking comparison sites there has clearly been a higher price for several items at Morrisons. So one item on "special Offer" can cancel out any extra pricing on another item.

TBH sprite I haven't got a clue how many points I have, I just swipe the card. I will get round to looking at some stage, just like I will get round to phoning customer services to get my Morrisons Miles things transferred to the Match & More!

I do collect the weekly vouchers when they are doing that promo, providing it doesn't mean I'm spending loads more each week than I would normally.

Phew! I'm glad we don't have a Morrison's round here - it sounds so complicated that I would never get my shopping done for wondering what was cancelling out what!

You might be too late phoenix my DH had a Morrisons miles card with heaps of point on it. I think you only had up to a certain date to switch and those that didn't my dozy DH just got a token £5 worth of points added to their match and more.

Do double check though cos' I could be wrong. confused

Check the dates on the £5 off vouchers from points, they are usually one year. Only the special promotions have a very short date. Morrisons miles only went up to £5 anyway because they gave you a voucher when you reached that amount and the points started from zero again.

All the Morrison vouchers I have saved so far have an expiry date of 2016.
