Good morning Mick and everyone.
It is very grey and overcast with intermittent rain in Northumberland.
Lots to do today preparing to go on holiday tomorrow. Ironing is top of the list! Better get a wriggle on if I'm going to get it finished.

A little overcast here in N. Ireland and rain is on the way.
We will go out for breakfast and then visit dear sis in law for some craic, tea and cake.
Later it will take dh an hour to buff the grout on the slate tiles he has been laying on our hearth following which I will order Chinese takeaway. No cooking on Saturday

Late night last night, so late morning lie in! Hot and sunny here again. Next door there are already girls splashing in their swimming pool (not really a rich area - just them!). Ate breakfast outside! In the garden! Bliss! Couldn't stay in the conservatory - too hot - not bliss. Off to look at yet more solid roof options this morning!

Blue sky with clouds for the Miners gala today. Hope they behave. Still remember waking up to the bus sheds going up in flames on the hill below us. I thought the IRA had attacked the prison!

Good morning Sunday everyone. I'm new to this thread so am a bit lost. I'm calling from Torbay in South Devon and the weather here is wet and dull (where is our summer now lol)
Hope the weather picks up for Wimbledon and the men's final should be a good match pity about Murry but perhaps it will be his turn next year.

Hi Sally. Our good morning threads are usually started by Michael12 but he hasn't started one this morning so it's a bit of a worry.

I've just been thinking the same thing, kitty. I hope Mick's ok.

It was already afternoon when I looked for today's thread. Hope Mick is doing something more important and all is well.

He would usually say, I think. I've known him to be late but I don't think he has ever missed a day.

Perhaps his computer has gone belly up. Mine did a couple of weeks ago.

Yes I looked and worried. I love the snapshot of the weather over the UK

Can someone PM him? I have just started using a tablet and not clear how to do it on that.

Oh dear, this is a first for Michael, do hope he is okay.

According to Michael's profile page it seems that he lives in sheltered housing. Hopefully someone will be on hand if he has been taken ill.
This is always the first thread I look at in a morning, don't post very much but always interested to see what the weather's like around this country and beyond.

HI Kitty Lester. Thanks for the message yes i gathered that Michael usually starts the day with a chirpy message but Monday not started so have tagged on to Saturdays. The weather here in Torbay Devon is wet and dull today but mild so fingers crossed for a brighter afternoon. Got a whole day off today with no appointments so will be relaxing (No tennis so that will be missed) didn't sleep too well so will probably relax with a book and go for a walk down by the river in Totnes. have a good day everyone full of fun and pampering (if you can).
