My daughter popped into town this afternoon for one or two things. While there she visited a well known beauty and cosmetics store to treat herself to some moisturiser. She got chatting to the staff, with them asking about her obvious pregnancy (only 2 weeks to go!), she telling them it was her first and so on.
She picked up some perfume, a lovely zingy one, designed to "lift your spirits", and asked how much. When they told her it was £20 she reluctantly put it back, as this was way outside her budget. So she paid for the moisturiser and left the store.
As she turned into the street, she heard someone calling, and turned to see the fellow who'd been serving her holding out a bag, saying 'Madam, have this on us, and good luck with everything'. Inside the bag was the perfume. Her jaw just dropped, she couldn't believe it, and thanked him profusely
