Good morning, decidedly damp here, if not downright soggy.
At least I won't need to water the plants

It is a bank holiday here this weekend including tomorrow in Cyprus (Kataklysmos, or Whitsun as we know it) and as in the tradition of bank holidays in general it was very wet yesterday and is set to be stormy again today and tomorrow

Overly damp in this corner of Cheshire, uniform grey sky, and the trees are dancing back and two- hard to imagine we are on the doorstep of summer.

Wet, wet wet ! Have just got back from taking DD to Stansted. Rain to varying degrees all the way there and back.

DH is cooking breakfast bless him, then I may just have a lie down been up since 4.15 am.

Definitely back to bed I should think!

Good morning all, ditto to the weather. Lots of holiday-makers here over the half term school holiday will be returning home today, so they will not mind the rain. They have been quite lucky with the weather over the past week, although the wind has been cold - hasn't stopped them donning the shorts and the sun tops! Surprised they don't catch pneumonia! We shall now have the roads to ourselves, although of course holiday-makers are good for the town. Enjoy your days.

I have just risen from a very well earned lie-in. Oh the luxury of bed in the morning . We have a wet day in Northumberland too, still windy and very cool. My OH has gone to work, but my DS is coming for lunch.

Dark, dreary and raining in NW London. I have left the French doors open for my cat but knowing her contrary nature, she will have popped through her cat flap and be sitting in the hall way patiently waiting for "staff" to open a door for her.

I am expecting a Sainsbury delivery in around an hour so I should at least get dressed!

Good morning, heavy rain has eased and it is grey and breezy. Going to see GC after lunch, they have been in Yorkshire for half term holiday, so they will have lots to tell me.
GD1 had been in hospital the week before the holiday, she had an ear plug stuck in her ear and a doctor actually pierced her eardrum with forceps while trying to remove it GD swims four days a week and has had to give it up for a month.
I am hoping that all the fresh air and walking will have left them calm and unshouty by the time I get there.

Grotty day but I have my sight set on the end of the week when they have promised us summer at 26c - that will do me!!

It's throwing it down in this corner of Surrey at the moment. Mind you yesterday was lovely, I got a bit warm walking home from the shops then realised that I'd got my usual 'be prepared for anything' cardigan and jacket on.
