Good morning Mick, morning all!

It's very cold but bright in North Leicestershire this morning!

A quick trip to the butcher's in the next village this morning and then I'm going out for lunch with a couple of friends.

Good morning all, a fine morning here, and I ache after playing bowls yesterday, but caught up with some lovely friends I had not seen for a little while, and the weather was fine. Today I intend to clear out one cupboard and sort out some old photographs, that's the plan - we shall see. Enjoy your days.

Good Morning May Day from a bright but cloudy Colchester.

Happy May Day, and a very good morning to you all.

Beautiful start to the day. Bright sunshine in my corner of Northumberland. My dog has taken up her usual summertime position, asleep in the sunshine under the living room curtains. She is a sun worshipper!

Weekly trip to Asda and school pick up for DH and I.

Have a good day everyone.

Dull in N. Bucks at the moment.

Out for lunch with DD2 today. A spot of gardening, weather permitting. This evening at DD1s as it is SILs birthday.

Good morning on the 1st May. Summers coming.
Very very rough sea today and only 11c hope it calms before we reach the Bay of Biscay.
The Queen Elizabeth ship was in Lisborn with us yesterday and they are also heading for Southampton.
Home Sunday. Nine weeks have flown but will be glad to be home.

Good morning from a bright and chilly mid Essex. Pittcity I am interested to see that you are called grandma. I chose to be called
that too when my first grandchild was born. Most people seem to prefer nanna.
Off to a friend's this afternoon for a cup of tea and a natter.

We're spending the weekend in Weston-super-Mare where it's cloudy but bright. We will be going for a blustery walk along the seafront later.

Good morning, we had a severe frost last night. It is brighter now but I don't suppose it is very warm out. I have an appointment with my personal banker so will take the opportunity to do some shopping in town.

Good afternoon everyone. It's been beautiful weather here today, quite warm, it's 28°C now, but not humid and with a pleasant breeze. Sadly my lovely DD1 went home this afternoon but will be back again in August.

Michael your post brought back a lot of happy memories for me. We used to love taking the DGC to watch the Morris Men and many an early summer evening was spent in local pub gardens. smile sunshine

daffydil I chose Grandma because two Great Grans were already Nanny, and DD2's partner's Mum was already Nonna. DD1's in laws chose Nanny and Grampy, so we are Grandma and Grandad!!
