This is a text conversation I had with my best friend today

Me: Arrowroot biscuits are 49p in Home Bargains £1 cheaper than Tesco or Morrison's

BF: Tax

Me: Tax??

BF: What tax?

Me: That's what I want to know

BF: I haven't a clue what you're on about

Me: Well you started it

The phone rings and I explain to BF that she sent me a text that said Tax. No no says BF it said Ta with a kiss. I'm still giggling while writing this grin

Made me smile too.

We have been away this weekend with our DDs. DD3 to DD2 'do you want tea or coffee ?

DD2 'Coffee please.'

A little while later. DD2 to DD3 'Thanks that was a lovely cup of coffee'.

DD3 'It was tea'

DD2 'Oh, was it ? Well, it was a lovely cup of tea then.'

At which point they both looked at me and said 'Why are you laughing ? '

CeeCeeOh the joys of electronic communication. Mind you, Vat is payable on biscuits but not on cakes for some wholly obscure reason. There was considerable debate a while ago as to whether Jaffa Cakes were really cakes or whether they were biscuits.

Texts can be a mine of miscommunications. Especially when it comes to trying to text directions.

My friend has only just learned to text so if our usual chat is anything to go by texting should be fun grin
