Hello, I have just returned from the Falkland Islands where we saw our granchildren for the first time in a year. I was really worried that they would have forgotten us but they just picked up where they left off and we had a great time. I also worried that they might then get too attached and be upset when we left - but they just took it in their stride. For any long distance grandmas out there - it was wonderful to see them but reassuring to know they can manage fine without us. I can stop worrying all the time now!
