Wet, windy, grey, but there's a glimmer of light beyond...

Good morning all, dry here at the moment, but threatening looking clouds coming from the west! A day for dodging the showers I think. Enjoy your days.

There is a blue sky in NW London but it has been so wet all night and there is more rain to come. I am not looking forward to a dental apppointment today.

Shopping to do but I'm not feeling energetic. I had a reasonable night for a change but now I've got palpitations and I feel quite wobbly.

Good morning though it isn't, raining sharply here. My DH has had to give up driving and we need to go out today so it's taxis each way.

Weather here in Mid Essex can't make up its mind. There was a short burst of sunshine but it is now looking less than promising and the wind is getting up.

Good morning from a dark, very wet north east. I think we got off quite lightly compared to some parts of the country.

Good morning from Northumberland. It's dull, grey and wet here. I am going to make a lamb tagine for lunch and have been looking for a recipe. I travelled back from Scotland yesterday and got very wet on the first part of the journey. My raincoat was still damp around the edges when I arrived home 4 1/2 hours later.
