Heavy rain until about 2 this morning. Bright and sunny now.
Have a great day and keep safe tomorrow when Bertha arrives. Hope it is much less than anticipated. The weather men seem to over play things these days.

Good morning all, and thank you for the welcome back, I have not been far, and have been reading a lot of the posts, so I know what has been going on! We have a lovely morning here, our daughter arrived safely yesterday, and is still sleeping - never an early bird that one. Playing bowls this p.m. so hope the weather stays fine, but not hot. Enjoy your days.

Morning everyone! It's looking as if Bertha will make it across the Atlantic sometime tomorrow so batten down the hatches folks! Meanwhile, another nice day dawns after heavy rain last night - much needed.

Morning all - lovely morning again especially after the overnight rain - golf today!!

Rain yesterday evening and during the night but it is bright and sunny in NW London now. I will be getting ready to go to the gym shortly, then do a wash when I return as rain is coming in droves tomorrow. Sainsburys will be delivering an on line order mid afternoon. Feet up after that.

It's a lovely bright and sunny start to the day in North Leicestershire but we had heavy rain overnight.

The football season starts today so it's back to providing a fry-up to anyone who is going to the match - seems really odd in August!

Ugh! I had a dreadful night, so it's good to see some sunshine this morning.

Despite the Highways dept. digging 4 holes to clear the drains in my road over the last week or so, they were not too happy when the road flooded yesterday just after they'd filled in the last hole!
I fear they may be back again next week, but at least they are tackling the problem.

Meeting friends for coffee so I'd better get a wriggle on

Hooray at last they have found the problem with my broadband and fixed it. Rained really heavy last night.We have a nice morning in north essex plenty of sunshine.Ironing to day,but I like ironing

A nice heavy rain last night. Of course I had watered first....
But I woke very early, and when I tried to get back to sleep it was shattered by a dog barking - and I don't know if I dreamed it! The noisy dogs have been away and I am dreading them coming back. No sign of them yet.

Do I have the energy to go to a tabletop sale?

Lovely bright morning but cloudier now. Not walking the dog at the moment as am getting over the latest attack of nasty mouth ulcers, (I get them when I overdo things) but looking forward to beginning my morning walks soon.

Off to meet some members of my extended family for lunch today. 9 of us in total.
