Good morning all. It's rather cloudy in Northumberland this morning. The sun is trying to break through. I'm going to Cumbria this morning to make Dad his dinner. I'm looking for a chinese noodle recipe, he might like something different.

Cloudy in NE Cheshire but warm and very humid. In an hour my taxi will arrive and I'll be on the first leg of my journey to France.

Morning all. It rained over night here in the south but we missed the horrendous weather they had in Brighton. Fresher weather today but due to be hot so will be very muggy.
I'm not new but am taking part in a GN Survey and my name has been changed for the week.....but I'm still me. grin

A sunny day with a light breeze in NW London. A vast improvement to yesterday's flash floods.

Dawned sunny here but it's now clouding over a bit. But warm. As long as it stays warm, I'm happy. Now out to cut the grass - warmth and rain and the garden is turning into a jungle.

Have a good trip Anno and Happy Tuesday everyone. sunshine

Hello all! nannotgran say hello to Clacton for me I lived there between the ages of 10- 23 and went to Clacton County high School (when it was a grammar). have a lovely day - nice here in Melton Mowbray and its market day so might go and look at the farm animals today.

nannotgran Tue 29-Jul-14 09:04:00

Suebailey Did you have a auntie Mary?

Galen Tue 29-Jul-14 09:19:31

Sunny here. A high tide in the channel with the sun on it and the welsh hills the other side looks lovely

Yes hilda a tad cloudy here in Northumberland this morning but the sun is trying to break through. Lindesfarne was well worth the visit yesterday and we feasted on BBQ'd mackerel the SiL and GS had caught last night. Off on a boat to the Farne Islands today hoping to see seals, puffins and other sea birds.

suebailey1 Tue 29-Jul-14 10:21:30

I did but she lived on Canvey Island.

Good morning from Cumbria, we have had drizzle this morning and it is cooler. Firemen have had new gym equipment delivered this morning, like they need their muscles making any bigger grin

Just saw a man lose control of his mobility scooter and crash into a fruit and veg stall in the market- we all just stood there dumbstruck while veg rolled everywhere.

Spent a blissful afternoon sailing round the Farne Islands, seeing seals basking and colonies of puffins, shag, kittiwake, etc. Landed on Inner Farne and what a din from the Artic Terns shock

Now completely chilled wine
