Good Morning Thursday

Wet here in East Sussex. Very little wind so expect it to stay for some time. Off on a volunteers training day this morning and tomorrow off to see my sister. Very fond of her but it's hard to listen to her for many hours!

Rain, rain, rain here in Cheshire.
I'm going to see my friend today (post op), she is sounding full of beans (just hope it lasts) so I'm very happy.
My dd is having a really tough time at the moment, which means I'm not sleeping and I can't settle to anything!

It is overcast again here in North Leicestershire but the forecast heavy rain is now forecast as showers. On the basis of heavy rain, I only did a cursory amount of watering of the newly planted stuff in the garden last night - that's someone's law

Loma can we firm a support group? My DD3 is having a tough time too. I've mentioned the idiot before and we currently have DD and two under threes living here so I can sleep but it is really difficult when one's children are suffering for whatever reason!

Good morning everyone from a rather damp south coast, but glad it has rained as some transplanting took place yesterday, so these will be well watered in. Sorry for your problems kitty and Loma, no matter how old they become, they are still our children and we will always be concerned for their happiness, having said that, I rather feel children have this habit of growing up in spite of us! Off to buy my daughter a birthday pressie, and she has said she and our lovely son in law will come to visit us on that day, which will be really great. Anyway, enjoy your days.

Good morning all. It's toddler minding day for me today so building up strength . Sorry for your problems Kitty and Lona, can sympathise. The trouble is we never stop worry about them do we?

Good Morning Damp and dull from a bit south of Lona at present. Not enough rain to do the newly replanted stuff enough good.

I hope all those worried about family members can get some relief and send energy to the toddler minders.

Good morning, it is raining and quite cool. Driving back from DS's was bad last night because of the thick fog. GD1 dashed in from swimming, supposed to get changed for Brownies but went into meltdown. Parents left the house and I gave her a sandwich and a cuddle and she was right as rain in a few minutes. I can't be the only one who thinks that a child's day is long enough without another two extra curricular activities.

Overnight rain and more forecast for today in SE Hampshire but my sweet peas are loving it.

DDil rang last night to say they are coming to take us out to lunch on Sunday so I am feeling very happy about that and I have booked a table at a lovely local pub.

A sandwich and cuddle works wonders, harri. We discovered that when my younger GD was especially grumpy and tearful she was in need of food. She was a small eater then and needed frequent topping up. Now adolescent she eats everything put in front of her!

Good morning all, another beautiful day here and 1st May is one of the Bank holidays taken very seriously so everything is closed including the restaurants. We don't hear much traffic normally but today is so quiet that you can almost feel the silence.

Same here dustyangel! Glorious sunshine but it feels like a Sunday with everything closed for 'Workers' Day'. The restaurants stay open though. Malta has far too many public holidays, IMO
