Morning Mick and everyone. Misty but with a promise of blue sky when it clears.

Lona Tue 01-Apr-14 07:34:26

Morning! It's been wet, but now it's just dullish and warmish. I'm feeling quite 'ish' myself, tired after a busy weekend and a bad nights sleep.

Dgd is coming for half an hour as mum has appointment at dgs's school, so that will wake me up.......sharpish! grin

Good morning everyone, first of the month AGAIN! where does the time go. We have a lovely morning here, and I have a new computer with keyboard both of which are driving me mad a the moment. Enjoy your days.

Lovely day in East Sussex. Blue sky and the birds are singing their hearts out.
The only noise are the hedge trimmers who are cutting the hedges around the house. They make it look so easy walking around on stilts.

dustyangel Tue 01-Apr-14 15:32:35

Good afternoon all, well, there's nothing good about the weather here. Very heavy rain for the last three days and winds that sound as if they are going to take the roof off. The living room furniture is all skewiff (sp?) to make room for the buckets and bowls under the three leaks that started again yesterday and the daytime temperature has dropped over 10 degrees.

I've been tucked up safe and warm in bed for most of that time.grin
I thought I might be going down with a U T I on Friday but felt well enough to go out to eat as we usually do. I woke up feeling very ill in the night and by morning was in so much pain that I was willing to be taken to the local hospital where they put me on a drip for over three hours!
The tests showed no infections just an elevated white blood cell count and as the pain was manageable by then I was allowed home with a follow up appointment this week. They thought it might be food poisoning but as I was already feeling some pain on Friday I think it's unlikely.
The clocks going forward was the easiest one I have ever done, I just snoozed through it. grin

NanKate Tue 01-Apr-14 17:37:55

Hope you are feeling better now Dusty. smile

dustyangel Tue 01-Apr-14 21:20:51

Thank you NanKate I'm a lot better now thanks. The pain is a lot less and although I still can't eat properly I managed some lentil soup today. smile
