Don't forget!

AlieOxon Sat 29-Mar-14 19:39:39

I know - but it will probably still surprise me when I wake up!

janerowena Sat 29-Mar-14 19:40:04

I needed a reminder - thank you!

Charleygirl Sat 29-Mar-14 19:42:54

Been there, done it and got the T shirt. I know I am early but at least it is done.

DebnCreme Sat 29-Mar-14 19:42:57

Thank you phoenix

shysal Sat 29-Mar-14 19:46:15

I did mine at 3pm in case I forget later blush! I even did the one in the car, which sometimes gets left out.

Culag Sat 29-Mar-14 20:21:31

At least there aren't so many clocks for me to change these days. It used to be such a chore. My battery clock changes automatically, and so does the digital radio. No phoning up the speaking clock anymore.

Also don't forget the government campaign to get us to check our smoke alarms too when putting the clocks forward and, I suppose carbon monoxide alarms too and any other kind of alarms (wine too much tonite)

AlieOxon Sat 29-Mar-14 20:44:19

Computer changes itself too!
..........and my car clock will be RIGHT for six months now.....

rosesarered Sat 29-Mar-14 20:45:20

Thanks phoenix I knew it was sometime around now but had totally forgotten!

Elegran Sat 29-Mar-14 20:49:45

Some of my clocks are radio-controlled so will put themselves right, some are not, so I will either be on time or late tomorrow, depending which I look at.

Full of admiration for you shysal - how the hell do you change the time on the car clock ? The instructions are gobble de gook to me so my car clock will be wrong until October unless some bright spark comes along and in a couple of seconds puts it right. But hey ho ! I am very capable of adding ''1'' to what ever time it says. It did get a bit confusing though when it was 10 mins slow and I had to add 10 mins and subtract 1 hour.

Deedaa Sat 29-Mar-14 20:56:26

Thankyou phoenix I'd completely forgotten about it!

Glad you subscribe to my method of time keeping tiggypiro I think my car clock has to have something pointy stuck in a tiny hole on the front of it - but it all requires organisation so probably won't happen!

Ana Sat 29-Mar-14 21:00:13

It's dead easy to change the time on my car clock, but I still have to consult the manual every time!

annodomini Sat 29-Mar-14 21:09:05

Need to get it right to get sister on flight to Edinburgh tomorrow.

Lona Sat 29-Mar-14 22:02:04

I don't change the time on the clock in my car..............I just change the car darling!

If you believe that you'll believe anything grin

My oven is the correct time now for the next 6 months!

KatyK Sun 30-Mar-14 11:39:17

I told all and sundry not to forget the clocks. Guess who forgot? blush

I hate this daylight saving malarkey. It completely throws me and I feel as if I am slightly jetlagged for a few days until my poor body clock catches up with clocks everywhere else! grin

yogagran Sun 30-Mar-14 13:28:39

When told the reason for daylight savings time the Old Indian said, "Only the government would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it to the bottom, and have a longer blanket."

goldengirl Sun 30-Mar-14 16:52:31

Love it yogagran grin

DD was deeply disgruntled by the clock change. She works a shift pattern and was rostered for the early shift today - start time 5.00am.

Ours don't change until next weekend so we are currently twelve hours ahead of the UK and will be 13 hours ahead throughout the UK spring/summer. I have to time my visits to Gransnet quite carefully – otherwise I end up talking to myself (as opposed to MiceElf).

gillybob Sun 30-Mar-14 22:39:58

I hate all this time changing. It always knocks my body clock out for a few days. I slept in this morning as it was an hour later than I thought and now I am not tired but need to go to sleep to get up for work in the morning. confused

ginny Mon 31-Mar-14 08:58:13

I love the clocks going forward and look forward to lighter evenings. If only we could have double summer time. Maybe if Scotland becomes independent we will be able to choose the in the south. grin

gillybob Mon 31-Mar-14 10:13:15

Choose the what in the South ginny?

The weather, the time, the currency oops sorry.
