The same here in Warwckshire.

Happy Thursday All. Bright and sunny in Norfolk - but chilly, very chilly. Got the washing to do from our few days away, so looks like there's a good dry anyway.

Good morning all!

Grey and blustery here in the East Midlands this morning.

We are going to the Peak District for a couple of days so I hope the weather isn't too bad.

Enjoy your days everyone sunshine

Just grey in NW London, no wind. Apparently it will get colder over the weekend. Wonderful.

Morning all.
Clear blue sky and sunshine but breezy in N. Kent.
Have a good day everyone.

Hello everyone. We have gone back to cloudy in the Thames Valley.

I am going to sort out my nice purple M and S thermals in case the temperature does drop as they have threatened.

annodomini Thu 20-Mar-14 07:38:31

Dull and a good deal colder in NE Cheshire

DebnCreme Thu 20-Mar-14 07:39:36

Good morning everyone. Rain threatened here in Zummerset but due later today so all good right now.

Good morning, weather here in the Peak District promising Kitty. Windy but bright, hills look clear. I have woken to a new resolution to Live Happy.

Still sunny and bright in East Sussex. All the birds are singing and it's lovely. First day at new charity shop today.

It's a closed bridges, ferries not running day in Scotland. I think I'll make some pea and ham soup.

PRINTMISS Thu 20-Mar-14 08:35:21

Good morning all, we have a bright cold morning here on the south coast, and I am not sure whether to venture out and play bowls or stay indoors to do some housework - will decide after my second cup of tea. Enjoy your days everyone.

B..... wet and windy in Fife

harrigran Thu 20-Mar-14 10:51:10

Good morning, grey and windy and rain will be here shortly. Staying in to do the washing and ironing. DH told me car was in garage for two days so did not plan any outings, he has just returned in a courtesy car and said he was off out as I had the washer and drier on hmm

soop Thu 20-Mar-14 11:16:44

harrigran...same weather hereabouts. The sea is exceedingly choppy. I'm wondering whether I should pedal my exercise bike...since it developed a clonk, I've convinced myself that it was possibly unsafe to use. A pal took it away, stripped it down to the bare nuts and bolts, oiled the inners and returned it good as new. I'm not in good shape at the moment. I need to improve my stamina in readiness for the time we shall be spending with and entertaining the wee man. wink

We are in the Peak District Sewsilver and it's pickling down and blowing a gale - what happened? grin.OurCakes going down a storm. Our hotel is lovely though with a complimentary (small) decanter and two glasses to go with the usual tea , coffee and biscuits etc! wine

annodomini Thu 20-Mar-14 17:33:35

It's the equinoctial gales, kitty. Today is, according to my invaluable informant (wiki), the spring equinox. Not far from the Peak District here and it has gone very wet and windy.

Aka Thu 20-Mar-14 18:46:40

Happy Vernal Equinox everyone.
