Order of browsing Gransnet

Erm watching lol...they are threads your interested in and posted on it saves trolling through everything...theres a watch button you click on each thread you want to watch then when you log in click on the watch button and the threads your watching all come up...

I always just go to 'Active' and then, very occasionally, 'I'm on' and I bookmark threads so I know where I got to last time.

I do the same*kitty*, can't cope without my bookmarks!

Another one who just goes to 'Active'. I probably should use bookmarks instead of all the scrolling!

I have a look at Last Hour first, to see what's going on and back-track if I want to know more.

I rarely get beyond 'last hour' which is a shame because I must miss a lot. Will look at the 'I'm on' thread more regularly.

I go straight to 'Watching' from my favourites list on BT home page. Then 'Last Hour', 'Unanswered', and 'Last Day'
I also can't cope without bookmarks, saved on last post of every thread visited.
I wish I had time to always read the 'Good Morning', 'Soop's Kitchen', and 'Today I' etc. threads, to keep up with what is happening in the lives of regulars. However, if I did, nothing else would ever get done!

Can someone explain to me the benefit of 'Last hour' over 'Active'? I realise that one can see bits of the latest posts but on Active the most recently used threads appear at the top.

What am I missing

I go straight to Actives. Then skim through "I'm on" in case I've missed replying to anyone.

A thread may have dropped off the bottom of 'Active' in the last hour, so you can find it quickly.

If threads are not replied to for a few months are they automatically dropped the system do you think ?
